Hey there. Today I’m going to show you how to allow user registration on your WordPress site. First go to your admin dashboard, then go to settings–>general to configure. We’ll need to go to the membership area and click anyone can register check mark. Next I need to set up the default user role. Subscribe is selected and we’ll keep that. We need to add a login and register page. The best method that we can use is to add the meta widget to the sidebar like this.
Then when on the front of the site anyone can see this and click log in. Now we want to make sure spammers don’t register so I’m going to install and activate the stop spammers plugin then go to settings–>stop spammers to configure. Finally we can manage users in WordPress by clicking on users from the admin dashboard. From here you can see all your users on your site, delete any that shouldn’t be there, or change their roles or passwords from here. And now your site allows user registration.
